The color is gray.
GUC - see picture with some wear on the end of one strap. This would not be a structural issue, unless you need to have the straps almost as loose as they can go. I am NFO, but it appears Velcro may have caught it and that’s what causes the ‘fraying’. I do not have the hood.
Smoke free home. I am a low scent/no scent home, but this came to be with a slight detergent smell. As someone who is sensitive to smells, it is not overbearing.
