This 4 DVD set of the 1st season features various director's commentaries, notes from director of photography, and intros from the Log Lady on each disc, but it is the 4th DVD where all the extras are hiding. There is a page that describes each Twin Peaks cast member and draws the connections between them. The midget pops up with lessons in speaking in the red room, and there is an interview with the woman who owns the diner that provided the set for the Double R in the series. There is an intro to David Lynch and an interview with Mark Frost, but it is how these features are presented that will thrill any Twin Peaks fan. The graphics integrate beautifully with images from the series and the box set itself offers double foldout packaging, an interview with Sheryl Lee, and a chapter index, as well as info on the story and characters.
