For this season, the Vans team revisited, redesigned and reinvented every aesthetic and technological aspect of the UltraRange to make it more sustainable. The new UltraRange VR3 Multi stands out with an EcoCush™ midsole molded in 50% Bio-Based foam, a lightweight construction, and an EcoRubber™ sole made from rubber from renewable sources. Its breathable knit upper is composed of 50% organic cotton, 34% rPET, 14% recycled nylon and 2% spandex, significantly reducing waste compared to Vans' traditional cutting and sewing methods. UltraRange VR3 is the realization of the idea that the important thing is not only where we are going, but how we get there. With ambitious sustainability goals, Vans believes that every effort, large or small, contributes to positive changes. To receive the VR3 Checkerboard Globe logo, at least 30% of the product must be manufactured with recycled, renewable and/or regenerative materials.
