This is an Antique piece by Bradford and Bennett c. 1890's, Pat 13014. I took a picture of the safety catch on this brooch, it is an extremely early version of the safety catch. Bradford and Bennet is circa 1890's, but considering the first safety catch didn't happen until the early 1900's, I would age this piece to the early 1900's. It weighs in a 8.6 grams.
