Original Victrola Model 35 portable suitcase phonograph, mid-1920s. Single-spring hand-crank motor winds and plays properly. Original No. 2 reproducer present. All components intact including crank, platter, tonearm, brake, and case hardware. No servicing or rebuilding performed; operates as found.
Condition Notes:
VG+. Original case covering with scattered scuffs, scrapes, and small losses, mostly on the bottom(see pics 7,8,9) consistent with age and use; the covering in the rest is very clean, but not mint. Interior clean for age. Mechanism runs and plays. No cracks or structural damage. Unserviced.
Additional Notes:
Uses standard steel phonograph needles; a fresh needle should be used for each record side to minimize record wear. Intended for 78 rpm shellac records only. Not suitable for modern vinyl.
