This exquisite nativity set features hand-painted figures crafted in the tradition of the Olot School of Catalonia, Spain. It was originally purchased in a jewelry store in northern New Jersey in the late 1960s. It has been unused for many years and was stored wrapped in tissue in temp controlled environment. Overall these are in superb condition. See all pics and examine carefully. Details:
-Glass eyes on Mary, Joseph and Jesus.
-Ox and Donkey have lifelike detailing
-The 3 metal halos and staff can be removed for safe storage.
-See pic for height. Mary is approx 11", Joseph 10" and Baby Jesus measures 6" long.
-All fingers, toes, noses and hooves are in tact.
-The only damage I see is donkeys right ear has been glued, and Joseph's green base has paint chip from his staff rubbing it. There are a few tiny spots here and there where the paint is missing. Literally a dot the size of a pin head. Have to carefully examine to find but I want to be transparent.
