What a find! This listing is for a yardage of fantastic mid century fabric featuring an abstract pattern in beautiful palette of pink, purple, black, white and gray. Based on the design, it appears this fabric might date back to the 1960s.
This lightweight fabric is sleek and dense. I did a burn test and fibers did not produce acrid smell, so it may be some kind of rayon or even silk blend (?). No information on the selvage. The fabric measures 4 yards by 44”. It is in fine vintage condition with no other issues to mention except for a slightly dusty smell (not musty or offensive), typical of textiles not aired out for some time.
