This was considered the first "smartwatch" developed in partnership with Microsoft and first introduced in 1994. (In great condition, just needs new batteries! *NOT INCLUDED*)
Features and History- The watch gained fame for being the first watch capable of wirelessly downloading data from a computer. Users would hold the watch up to a CRT monitor, which flashed a series of blinking light pulses that an optical sensor at the top of the watch face would read and decode. Depending on the model (e.g., Data Link 50, 70, or 150), the watch could store a specified number of phone numbers, appointments, anniversaries, and to-do lists synchronized from a Windows PC application. It was one of the only watches to bear the Microsoft logo and came with software compatible with Windows 3.1 and later versions. The watch featured Timex's INDIGLO night-light and was water-resistant to 100 meters. Notably, the Data Link was certified by NASA for space travel and used by astronauts on space missions!
