The 48" Rapid Box Switch Octa-L Softbox is a good choice for full length portraiture, fashion, or large sets. The very large surface area of the softbox makes it a candidate for single light shooting and gives its output a wraparound quality and a painterly look especially when used close up. Another benefit is the reflection of natural-looking catchlights in your subject's eyes. As indicated in the name, the softbox has a basic ring to hold it together, but instead of full speed rings, 13 "inserts" are available for a speedlight or 12 different brands of strobes. The quick release thumb-lock on the Rapid Box Switch ensures the security of your light.
