I am a fan of this edition of the New Testament because it is translated into Plain English as literature and provides light into the shadows of some of the writings of Paul, especially his letter to the Romans. I like clear, simple, declarative writing and for me, this version of the New Testament is a joy and comfort to read, even compared to the NRSV.
