This bowl appears to be an example of Benjarong style enameled ware made in China during the Guangxu period (1875–1908) (see stamp marked on bottom) for export to the Thai market.
Major colors are black and green. On the black band encircling the bowl, there are four blue medallions each with a warrior attired in yellow stepping through red flames with his sword raised. Unusually colored beige flames surround the medallions. The green border at the top has repeating geometric patterns, sitting atop a thin brown stripe with white enameled dots.
It’s a very humble crudely painted piece. I thought it was painted by a child when I first saw it. I’ve been keeping my spare change in it.
