It was an air charter service operating from Burbank Airport in the late 1940s, offering transcontinental and even Hawaii service. This company is notable for its association with the controversial North American Airlines Group, a group of irregular air carriers that engaged in illegal scheduled service. The company began as Airplane Charter By Mercer in October 1945, advertising charter flights from Burbank Airport."
