It is from the Spanish Civil War but was refurbished in WW2, as shown by the paint color and the badge holder in the front. It is slightly lopsided and has the chinstrap broken off, but might be able to be reattached. I dont know about the liner on the inside, but I think its real. According to the person who I bought it from it is a veteran bring back. Overall decent condition
