Swissotel has partnered with Victorinox, the largest pocket knife manufacturer in the world, for a bespoke ‘Spartan’ model – the original officer’s knife of the Swiss army. Our version has a typical ‘sgraffito’ design – a Swiss graphic element included on the facades of houses in the Engadine in eastern Switzerland that dates back to the 16th century. With this design, Swissotel links a very old and traditional pattern to a Swiss icon using a modern application technique.
