This is an unused example of the relatively modern Crest set from Sheaffer. It consists of a Fountain Pen and Ball Pen. Both are finished in Gold plate with gold filled trim to the clip.
The 23 karat gold electroplate model bears a strong visual resemblance to the Sheaffer Snorkel Triumph, an all gold filled pen. It carries the strong engraved lines from the gold plated caps of the gold cap / laque models through the entire barrel. It is the second highest priced pen in the line.
