For a Random Flow Generator (RFG) to work, it must be fully submerged. Most All-in-One aquariums, such as the Innovative Marine Tanks, put the return nozzle right at the water line. ThisSlip-Fit Drop Adaptersolves this issue by dropping the nozzle below the water line just enough for proper operation.
The adapter is designed to replace the slip-on fitting that came with your tank and allows you to properly position a RFG nozzle. Pair this adapter with a 1/2" Random Flow Generator Nozzle to obtain the perfect random flow solution for your reef tank.
Innovative Marine tanks can have either a 19mm or a 16mm return line. Please verify the size of your tank`s return line prior to purchase.
