Hegel’s Science of Logic 1&2 - Johnston & Struthers (George Allen & Unwin 1966)

Fourth printing of this UK hardcover edition of Hegel’s Science of Logic Volume 1 & 2 translated by W. H. Johnston & L. G. Stringers (George Allen & Unwin, 1966). A part of t he Muirhead Library of Philosophy series. Hard to find vintage set of this iconic work of philosophical thought by the German writer. Price clipped jackets now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges - including chipping, creasing and small tears. Boards are straight and clean but with corners bumped and small dents to top edge of all boards. A few instances of split binding though spines remain fairly straight. Heavy underlining and margin notes to both, however this largely ends after the first chapter or two of both. Inscription on fep of volume one. Liquid staining to top outer edge of text block of volume 2. Tanning pages and other mild blemishes to outer edges of text blocks. See photos for condition.
