Vintage original 1955 linen-backed & restored movie poster insert (14”x36”) for the classic MGM Samuel Goldwyn Productions musical “Guys & Dolls” directed by Joseph L. Mankiewicz & featuring an iconic image of the lead actors in costume — Frank Sinatra (as Nathan Detroit), Marlon Brando (as Sky Masterson), Jean Simmons & Vivian Blaine.
Vintage, original insert poster (14”x36”) in very fine condition before linen-backing & professional restoration. This poster is from the 1955 musical “Guys & Dolls” starring Marlon Brando, Frank Sinatra, Jean Simmons & Vivian Blaine. Prior to linen-backing, poster had slight edge & fold wear, creases, pinholes, unobtrusive smudges, & scratches in the blue area behind the four actors. Restoration was done to fill in the missing color along the top fold line (through the characters) & the missing pigment through the shoes. The poster was well-backed but you can see signs of above defects & related restoration of defects. Please see photos.
